CASTAWAYS, BUT HAPPY - 2025

These photographs trace a journey from water to land. I grew up in this water. It taught me how to play, how to pay attention, how to respect nature. I learned its rhythms alongside the fish, moving through it before I ever tried to define it.

I spent my childhood exploring the shoreline, collecting whatever the beach chose to offer that day. Over time, the coastline changed. The sand shifted. What was familiar slowly became something new. Still, I return to the same water. I stand on different ground now, walking on new sand, carrying the memory of where I began.
